"All glory comes from daring to begin."- Eugene F. Wae
If you've looked into the mirror lately, only to see a dull, tired reflection starting back, then it may be a sign of an overdue total-revamp. Although we're pretty much into the spring, it's never too late for a fresh start.
In terms of hair, avoid being sucked into the cycle of the "IT-Cut" because our tresses should suit our face types and not the current trends. Rummage through your shower caddy and toss all empty bottles and jars, products that didn't work for you as well as those you hardly used. This also helps to de-clutter our lives. Unsure of what shampoos and moisturizers best suit your new 'do? Check out http://www.makeupalley.com for tons of product recs and reviews.
If you've gained a little weight (hopefully in all the right places) over the last year, chances are your current wardrobe may not be entirely flattering. Give gently worn pieces to family and friends who can easily pass them off as vintage. Donate the rest to Red Cross, Salvation Army or homeless shelter in your area.
Unless you're a die-hard catwalk worshiper (myself excluded), you probably don't switch makeup at the whim of every issue of Vogue. Thus, your cosmetics case maybe over-run with old and expired products, which certainly aren't good for your skin. Keep in minda that mascara, liquid eyeliner and cream foundation.
Using these simple tips take your look from drab to fab, and feel refreshed as garden flowers after a downpour of April showers.
Yours in lipgloss & liner,
